Just a reminder to all that our regularly scheduled service at 11am at Lifestyle Fitness in Missoula has been moved to the Lochsa River in Idaho! This weekend is our annual Memorial Day campout at the Powell Campground on Highway 12 in Idaho. The service will be in the amphitheater at noon, followed by a pig roast and picnic afterwards! We’ll be camping Friday through Monday, or you can just come on up on Sunday and join us for the day! It’s only an hour’s drive from Missoula. Hope to see you there!
Well we were back at Lifestyle Fitness this week. Hopefully for good!
We had a great Mother’s Day turnout. We blessed all of the women with a pampering gift
We partnered with Misty’s Salon to give the ladies a private night of wine and hors d’oeuvres, chair massages, toe and nail polishes, bang cuts, and other good stuff!
I preached out of the genealogy in Matthew 1. Matthew mentions 5 women by name who he included in Jesus’ family line.
Most of these were the bad girls of the bible. Prostitutes. Adulterers. Pregnant Teen.
Yet God used all of them in amazing ways, and he will use you too if you let him.
Ever wonder what happens to the young child who leaves this world way too soon? How about the tribe living so deep in the jungle that they have never seen an outsider, nor ever heard of the one called Jesus?
I assure you that our God is loving, merciful, and gracious. God is also just.
Join us on Sunday as we explore this topic in our journey through the Book of Romans.
We’re one of the newest Missoula churches. We hope you’ll join us!

Every woman who comes on Sunday will receive a gift certificate for a special night of pampering. This night will include wine, hors d’oeuvres, chair massages, toe ‘n nail polishes, and bang cuts at Misty’s Salon. This is going to be a night you won’t forget!
So bring yourselves, bring a friend, and by all means bring your Mom!

Just in case you were wondering…we’re back to meeting at Lifestyle Fitness on Sunday mornings @11am. As of now this will be our permanent location on Sunday mornings. If you haven’t seen the new facility, you need to come on out this Sunday and join us. I think you’ll like it!
OK, in case you didn’t hear, we got kicked out of our new facility yesterday. We found out Friday night that we might need to find a new venue. Saturday at 11am it was confirmed. Within hours our amazing team had put together an awesome service down the road at the Hilton Inn and Conference Center.
Our goal was to make the best lemonade possible out of the lemon we had been served. Mission accomplished!
We had a stretch Hummer limo show up at Lifestyle Fitness at 10:30 to begin shuttling people to the new location. Do I even need to mention that this was a HUGE hit?!?!
The service went off without a hitch. Lot’s of return guests from the week before. Ironically many of our regulars weren’t there. Where were you on a day this big for RCC???? Just wondering.
I decided not to preach out of Romans, but to speak what was on my heart.
Earlier in the week during the midst of our facility troubles, the story out of 2 Chronicles 20 was brought to my remembrance. It’s the story where a huge army was amassing against Juday, and King Jehoshaphat was afraid.
But he chose to seek the Lord for help. He chose to trust in God. He chose to send worshippers AHEAD of the army into battle.
God said not to be aftraid, that the battle was His.
And God defeated the invading army without Judah even having to raise a sword.
How often do we take matters into our own hands when God is trying to tell us that the battle is His, and His alone?
When we do this, we settle for good rather than great. Because God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we could even ask or think! If we let him.
