Who We Are (Not)
Sometimes it's just easier to explain who we are not. We're not all republicans. We're not against homosexuals. We don't hate you if you've had an abortion. We're not against smokers. We don't take a stance on tattoos. We're not perfect. We don't think you're a better person if you've managed to stay married. We're not opposed to throwing back a pint or two with friends at the local pub.
We're modern-day Jesus followers. We love what Jesus stands for. We really love His story. We love people because He loves people. We think that if Jesus were walking around today, He'd hang out with all different kinds of people. Probably more drunks than churchgoers. Probably more bums than businessmen. Probably people like us, because we're just regular people who really aren't any better than anyone else. Some of us may be worse.
We embrace Jesus and what He stands for. We're passionate about His cause. We're passionate about Him. We're passionate about His power to change lives. We want to share what we've found with others. We want to help people discover their God-given purpose in life. We want to help change the world one person at a time. We want to be history makers. We want to do whatever it takes to reach people who are far from God. We want to change the way you think about church.
That's who we are.
